Most of the TEST TUBES along the wall are SHATTERED. MICROSCOPES lay on the floor where they were blown.
Rhys pulls CLEAN LAB COATS from a LOCKER, kneels down. He closes Dr. Ryan’s open eyes, gently covering both Dr. Ryan and Dr. North.
Amy walks to the LAB INTENSIVE and looks into the SECOND, SMALLER ENCLOSED lab.
The GLASS WALLS withstood the blast. Perfectly intact.
She taps the I.D. KEYPAD and it glows RED. Seal enacted.
As the last five minutes hits them both --
Amy slides to the floor, and Rhys follows her. Emotionally overwhelmed.</em>
RHYS WAKEFIELD

She brings the kit back to Rhys, opens it, and pulls out
DISINFECTANT and GAUZE. PLASTERS. A MATCHBOOK. GLOVES. She
reads the DISINFECTANT.</em>
AMY TENNANT (CONT’D)
Not for use on deep injuries. Great.
<em>She rips Rhys’ black SUIT SLEEVE aside, revealing a DEEP WOUND -- left shoulder to elbow. Damn.
Rhys sees the CONCERN on Amy’s face, the slightest softening towards him. A smile flickers on his face.
For just a moment, they breathe in this tiny hint of who they used to be, this Amy and Rhys friendship that went awry --
